I'm a firm believer in not letting disgusting things be witnessed alone. 2 weekends ago ,me & a couple of my friends went to Bangkok for a short shopping trip. When I entered the hotel room, from afar I could see a cockroach crawling across the top of the sofa which is at the end of the room. I quickly called my squeamish roommate (who was still chatting outside ,with 2 of my other friends) to tell her the precise measurements (it's huge) & trajectory of the roach. If I had to sleep in that room for the night, knowing where it had been, I'm taking her down with me.
AS expected she screamed, almost deafen the bell boy whose helping us with our luggage. The manager was immediately alerted to our crisis & immediately change us to a better room on a higher floor :)) Bangkok is wonderful !!!!
