Then there's the budget, sigh ... it's tricky, if the present is not big or expensive enough, would people think I don't care enough? At least with colleagues, we have a cap on $15- each. Most of us might just get something from Watsons or even Ikea. Buddies, well maybe I'll suggest we just go for Christmas buffet, everyone love those. Parents, better still, they claim anything I give them, they'll love. I'm thinking of sending them to an all-paid 4-day Hong Kong trip. They can enjoy the cool weather & also get some lunar new year goodies there. But is it too late now to book?
Then there's the new guy ... sigh... that's a tricky one. Anything too extravagant might send the wrong message- that I'm "too into him", I don't want him to get that impression . Anything too 'normal' just reflects badly on me. I so wanted this to mean something. Just can't give him something from the pic below right? lol....
