Skincare: A simple Regime

 Big Cosmetic Companies will tempt you with their glossy ads & promise you the world but I believe when choosing a skin regime,  the simpler the better especially when the weather in Singapore is hot & humid.

1. Cleanser:
In general a good cleanser should remove make-up & excess oil . Do not use your bath shower gel or soap to cleanse your face- they are too harsh. Facial cleanser are design not to clog pores & usually contain moisturisers, which would not dry delicate facial skin.

Two cleansers that wont hurt your pocket; Cetaphil Gentle skin cleanser which dont strip your skin or distrup pH, $14.50 & L'oreal cleansing milk for all skin types $14.90

2. Toner:
Believe it or not toner is optional. Especially when you have dry skin do not use it as it'll make matters worse. Toners are alcohol based so they have a drying effect for removing excess oil & tighten pores. Great for people with oily skin.

3. Moisturisers:
This is most vital to any skin regime. It's important to keep our skin moist- you look better & younger. The older you get, the more impt this becomes. Dry skin makes wrinkles more visible!

Update 1year later: Dr Keith Ong's new clinic, Parsons

 I've not gone for the whitening jab for MONTHS!!!!!!!

 My skin looks like hell! Lost it's glow & have gone a shade darker I think !!!!!
