Do you like airline food?

So during lunch we were talking as usual about nonsense, then Lim started telling us how much he loves inflight food. We all go "WHAT ?????!!!!" All of us have never heard of or know anyone who likes inflight food. That's almost like a fact- sorry major airlines, don't mean to insult but that's like the truth.

Then he went on to wonder if he can have a second helping in the furure ....lol.... Hmmm... actually that's a good question. Do they give second helpings to "fans" like Lim? For all questions about airlines we usually consult Lisa, our colleague whose an Ex-stewardess. According to her, during her long career with the airlines (10 years), no one has ever requested for a second helping, and we all know why.  BUT having said that, she told us, there's always some extras. These are usually for the crew but if someone would to ask , nicely, they would comply.

Then Lim went" what if everyone ask for a second helping?" would that be enough? Lisa said that'll never happen! For  all her 10 years , no one wanted a second helping, so it's safe to say, besides Lim, no one will ask for more. Lim almost looked relief, it's so funny.

Well next week he's going on vacation, & we all know what's he's going to do onboard ! LOL....

Have you ever been to a motivational talk? I have been to a few. My EX company sent us to lots of them. Maybe we were not doing so well & thus needed tons of motivation haha ... Anyway, I find the ones I've been to are mostly boring, the speakers don't seem too motivated themselves.😆

I just had lunch with my Ex-colleague who used to go to such talks. Over lunch we had a fun time recalling what happened. On hindsight, we did enjoy these talks, boring as they are, as it's a day off for us. There's a particular talk which stood out. The Speaker asked all of us to name the 'value' that we learned as a kid that we still treasure & live by today.

Everyone started looking rather panic as we have to name one. Thank God as in every situation, there's always someone who loves to be heard! That would be another of my ex-colleague, he saved the day, by volunteering to go first.

HE:  My mum told me, always leave a place better than you found it. For example, I would replace an empty toilet paper roll in the office toilet...........
........and before he could finish that, we were roaring with laughter !!!!!
And he didn't even know what happened !😆😆😆😆😆

I'm so thankful for this moment:)

As Christmas is drawing here, I started reflecting on the past year. It has it's ups & down. Mostly I'm just grateful & thankful that I have family & great friends to share with during all these moments. I also like to thank all those who has come here.

If you are looking for a nice place to have lunch, please come to this place. Equilibrium at Capitol Piazza. The lunch special only cost $16.90 & it's delicious. The ambience is just so nice. It's like you are sitting out doors yet it's all aircon, so very fun & comfortable. I'll be definitely going again !

What??? You would ? But .... It's just a couple of strawberries, maybe mash potatoes & some tiny candies (or whatever you call them). You can DIY !

Anyway a few of my friends were so mesmerize by this cute creations, that they've signed up for the course. Of course they invited me. But wouldn't it be more economical if only one of us go for the course & teach it to the rest later? Maya reminded me, it's all about fun & quality time spent hanging out with friends doing something fun.

Haha ... guess what? I'm sold! I'll be attending my very first cookery class later. Not sure if it can even be called a cookery class, as there's probably minimal cooking - look at the pic !
Anyway... we'll be very well prepared for this year's Christmas I guess ....lol..
